Goodiebox - May 2014

Kia Ora!

I've been eagerly awaiting this month's box. May seemed to get longer the closer it got to the end of the month! But it's finally here :) Goodiebox* have been amazing and sent their boxes before the long weekend, so we can all enjoy our treats a little bit earlier.

It feels very light this month, but that is never really an indication of how good a box will be. It's time to open it up and see what's inside.

I like the look of the card this month. It's very cute. The theme is "Tailor Made" which sounds very thoughtful.

Violet Box New Zealand - May 2014

Kia Ora!

I was delighted to discover my Violet Box* in the mailbox this morning. I've spent the day playing with all my lovely new toys! That means you get to read a "sort-of" review of some of the products, as much of a review as is possible after single uses of products. 

This is the second  box that has been available to New Zealand, and I love that Violet Box are sending different boxes to Australia, which means there are very few spoilers available from those boxes (which inevitably get to their destinations first). 

Ooooh it looks like some exciting products this month. April was a rather spectacular box, so let's hope that May's is just as good!

Review - Lush Lip Scrub

I've been hearing a lot about this lip scrub from videos on YouTube recently. So when presented with an ideal opportunity to get one myself I was ecstatic!

I treated myself to a shopping spree for my birthday a few weeks ago, and popped into Lush. This was not with the intention of buying anything but simply to revel in the delicious and exceedingly enticing smells that emanate from that shop. After a thorough browse, I tried the testers of the lip scrubs. I was at first confused about what to do with the sugar crystals. However after putting a little on my lips and rubbing it around I soon caught on.

Her Fashion Box - April 2014

Kia Ora!

This is my last Her Fashion Box* for the foreseeable future. There are several reasons for this and I'll go into them at the end of this post (I know you just really want to know what was in the box!). I get the Classic box.**

The HFB arrived in a satchel bag again, with the smaller box inside (as it has for the last few months). The magazine and a pair of socks were included too.

The pink box is removed to reveal the smaller, black HFB.

Goodiebox - April 2014

Kia Ora!

This is my first entry into this blog, but not my first Goodiebox*. I've been getting Goodiebox since October 2013 and have been loving it. I'm now slightly addicted to subscription boxes and so thought I would try to keep records of my experiences on this brand spanking new blog!

After multiple issues with the couriers, my April Goodiebox is finally here!!! The excitement was just about killing me, and I opened up the box straight away. I did stop to take some pictures though, and I'm always annoyed at how few pictures some blogs have so mine will have plenty!

The card was included on the top, detailing all the various goodies that are to be found inside the box.
