Memebox Speical #64 Green Food Cosmetics

Kia Ora!

I'm planning to break up the monotony of Memebox posts soon, but until then ...

It's time for yet another unboxing from the huge influx of Memeboxes recently. Today it is Green Food Cosmetics. I'm crossing my fingers for broccoli and herby things. All delicious smelling and with good results of course.

Tosowoong Aloe Whitening Essence 60ml

I like aloe vera, but didn't think about it being in this box. Especially not as part of a whitening product. I'll pretty much try anything, so I'll be giving this a go, but I'm not over-the-moon excited about it. I think aloe should be in sun care products, or moisturisers or something. I'm not crazy about this one, so it's not a good omen for this box.

RRP: $16
Full size.

Solucion 9 Aztec Therapy Shampoo 250ml

Yum. I love being able to try out new shampoo and hair treatment brands, and this looks like a goodie. It is crazy expensive ($68 for one bottle!) but I'm hoping it will be nice. It even came with a seperate pump to pop in once you open the bottle. The card warns not to use it with any other shampoo, or shampoo treatment, and to use once a day for 1-3 months for best results. Ummm, I don't think people can afford to use such an expensive product daily! Jeepers Memebox. However, I can't wait to try this one out!

RRP: $68
Full size.

WillSpa Touch Aroma Therapy Roll-On Oil 12ml - Chill Out

I'm not really into aromatherapy or homeopathy. I don't think I'll get much use out of this one, and will pass it on to someone who might use it. It's not what I expected in a Green Food Cosmetics box though. On the positive side, it does smell really nice. I can imagine it helping if you are stressed out. Actually, I should probably take it to work next year for when the students resurface in the library and the inevitable morons appear. I might need it then.

RRP: $18
Full size.

Derma:B Fresh Moisture Body Lotion 50ml

This is one of the very few sample sizes I've received from Memebox. It's not that small, perfect for  travelling so that's fine. It has tea tree, bergmot, peppermint, ginger and amber notes (according to the card - my nose just ain't that discerning). Sounds good, and I'll use it up over summer I'm sure.

RRP: $19 (full size 400ml)
Sample size (50ml): $2.37

Primary Raw Seoul Do You Original Soy Milk Facial Cream 100g

This is one of the fanciest products I've ever seen. It came wrapped up in the cloth bag, is in a sturdy glass jar, nad has a fancy lid and dipper thing. Wow, I'm already impressed. That's even before I tried out the cream. It is soft and delicious, and instantly makes my skin feel fantastic. Wowee, I can't wait to play with this for real, and not just on the back of my hand. I don't know how it fits with the theme of the box, but I'm really glad I have it.

RRP: $40
Full size.

Total value of the box: $144.37

Most of the value is in the Soy Milk Facial Cream and the Aztec Therapy Shampoo. I'm most happy with those two products, so I'm not going to complain. I will observe that the links to green food are tenuous with some of these products, and I can understand the widespread disappointment with this box. I'm annoyed about the aroma therapy product, and the sample size, but this is balanced out by the sheer joy at the two most expensive products.

Next post will be a whopping 3 -box unboxing from Violet Box! I've been neglecting other boxes, so why not combine and make a nice long blog post? Should make for a good read in the summer sun (for those tuning in from the Southern Hemisphere!).

Until next time ...
