Memebox Superbox #42 Birthday Box

 Kia Ora!

My new favourite word is 'Memebox', and I'm totally in love with getting new ones.

This one is the Birthday Box, which did have spoilers on the website but I stayed away from those as I love the element of surprise in these boxes.

The box is a nice, to keep one. It reminds me of the BellaBox in Australia actually. Well of the Youtube unboxings as I haven't gotten one myself. I like the box, it's very cute and will be good for storage needs in the future.

Oooh, this is the most exciting part. Read on friends, I shall divulge the Memebox secrets.
Oooooooh, aaaaaaaaah. (Yes, I'm treating this as a cult, which it totally is).

Magical Free Things - July 2014

Kia Ora!

The second installment of free things has arrived!
Some came in the post, some from the shops this month. Read on to find out more (and to find links to any samples still available).

Plus an offer I found today for a full-size shampoo/conditioner voucher worth $33! Check out the bottom of this post for the details!

Comvita Medihoney Natural Moisturising Lotion

This one is a really generous sample! It was very popular too as they ran out of samples early! So I can't point the way for anyone else to get any, but apparently they do frequent giveaway's there.

This moisturiser is apparently perfect for people with sensitive skin or any type of skin issues. I don't have any major skin issues like that so I'm saving this sample to pass on to either a family member or a friend.

Violet Box New Zealand - July 2014

Kia Ora!

I just received my Violet Box for July. I knew it should be here today and was anticipating it. The courier came back after an unsuccessful delivery earlier in the day to give it to me. Isn't that sweet?! Such a lovely man, who makes sure I get all my packages as soon as possible. This isn't the first time he's come back later in the same day to make sure I get my package in a timely fashion.

On to the exciting box opening!

Oooh I'm loving the new packaging. A cute little sliding drawer. I'll have to think of a neat way to re-purpose the box, rather than just adding it to the pile of empty subscription boxes. If anyone has any ideas please let me know in the comments.

Memebox Special #11 Cacao

Kia Ora!

Today I got my first Memebox, and I'm so excited about it!! I've been drooling over these boxes for months and I finally broke down and bought three for myself. I did win another one in a Facebook competition (blog post coming when it arrives) and that prompted my own purchases.

I did receive three, but for the purposes of not overloading this blog, I'm going to stagger the posts about them.
Here is the first one: the delicious chocolate-scented box!
If it's still available you can find it here. They do sell out really quick though so you may have to settle for another of their numerous boxes.

Oooh the products look so exciting!

Share the magic - Trilogy

Kia Ora!

Hey everyone!

Trilogy was kind enough to send me out a sample pack of their Rosehip Oil. I heard about this oil on Beauty Review, where there are tons of great reviews of this product. If you want to know more from consumer reviews and opinions they can be found here. The information provided by Trilogy can be found here

Haul - Farmers and mybeautystore.com

Kia Ora!

My first ever haul blog!! I love seeing these from other people so here's my attempt.

I went on a small shopping spree to Farmers and got a few products off mybeautystore.com, when they were having a sale. I'm impressed with how quick they shipped out my products, although I was upset that some of the products I ordered (and paid for) were out of stock. I was refunded, which was fine, but I was looking forward to trying some Trilogy products. Oh well, maybe next time!

First off, the products from mybeautystore.

Garnier Radience Boosting Scrub (Wake Me Up)

Yay, an exfoliating scrub! I'm most excited about this because I've been finding it really hard to wake up in the morning before work, so I'm hoping that this helps. I love trying new scrubs so I'm looking forward to trying it out. It smells like orange panadol (the one kids have) so I'll be interested to see how that scent works when using this product.

Garnier Pure Daily Deep Pore Wash

I've been noticing some blackheads on my nose and thought this might help deal with them. I'm also keen to try a product with salycilic acid in the hopes it helps with my breakouts.

T2 Haul - July 2014

 Kia Ora!

Today is something slightly different to beauty products. The main love in my life ... TEA!
I made an order from T2 because they were having a sale. Who am I kidding, it's just an excuse for me to buy more tea. I'm so addicted! I was in their shop last week, and I can't wait to go back and try some more tea :-)

They always send the tea in a lovely box, with a magnetic opening. It reminds me of a subscription box.

There's a sample on top, Tummy Tea

I've had this before (the last time I ordered from T2) and it's pretty delicious. I find it strange to get a sample of loose leaf tea, but, hey, not complaining. It has a lovely minty aftertaste, and is overall a lovely tea. I'm not a huge herbal tea fan, but I liked it. I can't comment about the tummy calming properties but it tastes good.

Care Pack NZ - July 2014

Kia Ora!

I just got home from work to a package awaiting me!! Yay, this means exciting things arrived in the mail (I totally know what this is but I'm gonna pretend it's a surprise anyway)!

I've found a new subscription service in NZ. This one is called Care Pack and it does all natural and eco-friendly products, usually food related and New Zealand made. I'm looking forward to this box. I did get a discount on the first box (I'm not sure if they are still available) but check out their website here for more details.

Cardboard box, brown paper; feels eco-friendly to me!

Goodiebox - June 2014

Kia Ora!

The Goodiebox for this month is finally here!! I"m really excited to see what is in it, especially after the $4 price hike this month. There has been quite a bit of negative feedback on the price increase, and I decided to stick around and see if there were positive improvements at all, before making a decision about my own continuation with Goodiebox.

Goodiebox costs $29 + $4.50 (shipping) per month, and you receive a range of products, normally 5-7.

So far so good, looks the same. It could be great, or awful, but the surprise is exciting.

I love the card this month. It looks very pretty :)
