Empties - February 2015

Kia Ora!

Hey everyone, see, look at me keeping my promises to do monthly empties! Bow down and worship! (Just kidding, but I really am proud of myself for keeping this going). Sorry this is a day late, I had to go to a family funeral yesterday, and didn't have a chance to get at a computer! Sorry!

February seemed to be the month where everything ran out. My box of empties is looking significantly fuller than it usually does. I was quite upset about finishing one product in particular, but we'll get to that later and you can all endure my pain with me! (Again with the kidding, I'm in a weird mood).

This is going to be long, so grab a cup of tea and settle in!

The grand total of what I've used up recently. Phew! (And the computer keyboard in the background, oh the joys of dating a computer nerd).

i belivyu All in one Hair and Body Wash

This was from my Birthday Box Memebox. This claims to be a hair and body wash, but I only used it as a body wash (so can't comment on the hair part). I loved this, and I'm a bit sad it is gone! It smelt so delicious, sort of fruity, and was a pearlescent white cream. It lathered really well, and you hardly needed any to wash yourself. I also love the packaging, as it is a really easy and simple way of getting the product out. I only needed one hand, which was great!

Repurchase: As soon as I can figure out where to get it from, heck yes!

ecostore Volumising Shampoo

This matches the conditioner in January's post. I quite liked this. It smelt nice, a bit herbaly, and gave a good lather. It lasted about a month or so, which isn't too bad, price-wise. I would be happy to have this again, once I've used up my ridiculous stash of shampoo (thanks to Memebox who sent lots of shampoo but never conditioner).

Repurchase: Sure.

i belivyu Sugar Scrub - Lemon

I got this originally in my Birthday Box Memebox. I loved these cubes. I know you can't see it, but I wrote a review of this sugar scrub, so check that out. This was a great exfoliator, not too harsh, but it did a good job. I'm really sad these are gone as I can't find this brand on any of the sale websites I know about. If anyone knows where to get these, please please let me know!

Repurchase: You're gorram right I'll repurchase these. I'll repurchase them until I die.

Glamourflage Halo Helen Facial Cleanser

I've had this in my Project Pan, and used it up within the first month. Yay! This was a really lovely cream cleanser, and it smelt like sweet apples. Mmmmm. I loved the scent, and it did a fairly decent job of cleansing my face without leaving the skin stripped of moisture. The only issue I had with it was that the cream left an unpleasant feeling on my lips, a numb type of feeling. It was weird, but disappeared once I wiped the cleanser off. Strange!

Repurchase: Probably not. It was ok, but I've used better cleansers.

Boutique Bebe Hair Salon

This was also in the Project Pan, and came in a Memebox. The instructions provided on the Memebox card, effectively said to use it as much as possible. I sprayed this on my hair in the morning before tying it up, and it smelt really lovely. I didn't really notice anything other than a nice scent though. Nothing bad, but also no benefits.

Repurchase: Nope.

Lush Honey I Washed the Kids Shower Gel - sample size

I received this as a free sample when I ordered a massage bar from Lush online. I can't say I'm overly thrilled with the scent personally, although I can see why it's popular. It smells like pure honey, and when you use this shower gel you feel like you are bathing in honey (scent-wise). The gel itself is lovely, it lathers nicely, leaves you feeling clean and fresh, and even leaves your skin feeling moisturised and soft. Can't complain about those results!

Repurchase: Not in this scent, but maybe for a gift.

Chamos Acai Pomegranate Anti-Wrinkle Cream

This is the product I'm really upset to have used up. I got it in my Pomegranate Memebox, loved this gel/cream, and am a little bit devastated it's gone. It was a pink colour, smelled faintly of pomegranates and did absolute wonders for my skin. It sunk in really quickly, and I think it helped with some fine lines on my forehead. They seem to have lessened (or I hope they have) during the period I was using this cream.

Repurchase: Yes, many times over yes.

Benton Snail Bee High Content Essence

I love this stuff. I think this bottle lasted me about 3-4 months, which is awesome. It is a gel, and it sinks into the skin really quickly. I use it at night, but it is great at clearing up the skin, and brightening. I can't even remember all the benefits, but after a week of use I noticed how great my skin looked.

Repurchase: Already have, and with a couple of backups.

Rosery Premium Feminine Secret Cleanser

This came from the Rose Edition Memebox. This is a specially formulated body wash for sensitive parts (i.e. that bit between girls legs). It's ok, but I'm not going to be using it again. It was very nice for sensitive skin, and didn't cause any irritation at all. However the scent was very chemically, and less than pleasant.

Repurchase: Nope.

Aphelia Peony Eye Cream

This was a sample from my October Violet Box. I'm impressed with how long this tiny sample lasted (three and a half months), and really enjoyed the chance to try it. It was a really thick cream, and a little dabbed on the undereye would take care of it. I used this over night, and my eye area was soft and moisturised by the morning.

Repurchase: Maybe.

T2 Melbourne Breakfast Tea

This came as part of a tea pack I received from my Twitter Secret Santa. I loved receiving a pack of tester teas in this size, as you get two cups from each sachet. I have decided that Melbourne breakfast will be the next tea investment, as I loved this flavour! It was deliciously dark black tea, with a hint of vanilla. It was so yum, and I can't wait to get my hands on a full size.

Well there you  go folks, that's the things I emptied in February. I know this blog is being published a wee bit before the end of February, but I have some exciting subscription boxes I expect in March, and didn't want to run out of time to publish this one.

Let me know if you've used any of the products I've used up, and what you thought of them.

Until next time ...
